Ipswich Town Reserves will welcome back David Wright as the right-back starts his campaign to win back his starting spot, with a run-out at Colchester United in a Combination fixture today. (2pm kick off).
Wright turned his ankle on the opening day of the season against Preston and then suffered a relapse a couple of weeks ago, just when it looked as if he was ready to play once more.
Spaniard Iván Campo, who was allowed a few days off to sort things out in Spain, is pencilled in to play as he looks to improve his match fitness.
Campo could go in at centre half alongside Tommy Smith, while David Norris steps up his recovery process with a second game playing in central midfield, with Jordan Rhodes and Dean Bowditch up front.
A number of scouts, coaches and managers are expected to run the rule over the likes of Bowditch, Kurt Robinson, Peters, Shane Supple and Jai Reason, who are available for loan.
