Tonight’s speedway clash between the Ipswich Witches and Sheffield Tigers has been called off.
The Championship pair were due to clash in a rare Wednesday night meeting at Foxhall, but heavy rain overnight and this morning has out paid to that.
A club spokesman said: “Tonight’s home meeting with Sheffield has been called off due to heavy overnight rain and rain forecast from 7pm this evening.”
The Witches are due to travel to Sheffield for the return leg tomorrow night.
