RIDGEONS LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION

Kirkley & Pakefield 3 Newmarket 3

IN A match where the lead changed hands three times, Kirkley & Pakefield and Newmarket Town were left sharing the points.

The visitors played for over an hour with 10 men after Lee Simm was sent off for his second set of verbal comments to the match official.

Kirkley took a 14th-minute lead with a deft header by Justyn Chenery, but the Jockeys equalised after 22 minutes when an innocuous cross-cum-shot by winger John Olive crept in at the far post.

The 10 men went into a 41st-minute lead with another goal from Olive, the lead lasting only a minute before centre-half Joe Jefford put the ball out of keeper Hills' reach.

It took Kirkley until the 79th minute to break down Newmarket's stubborn resistance, Chenery scoring a bicycle kick over the head of keeper Hill, but almost straight away, Newmarket's Ibraham Ibbutorbosh got up from his defensive duties to plant the ball beyond keeper Pauling.

Ipswich Wanderers 2 CRC 3

THREE second-half goals turned the match around. Wanderers had taken the lead when the referee ordered a free kick to be retaken for encroachment and Driver chipped the ball over the wall and beyond the reach of the keeper.

CRC drew level within a minute of the second half starting when McAuley rose above the Wanderers defence to head beyond the reach of Vandecar.

CRC took the lead after 54 minutes through Wixon scored but on the hour Driver drew Wanderers back level, latching onto a pass from Johnson, out- pacing his marker and hammering his shot between McShane and a post.

Yambasu won it for CRC when he side-footed home Wixon's cross that Vandecar had parried.

RIDGEONS LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION

Ely City 3 Whitton United 3

THE home side took advantage of the high winds with Mason netting early on. Ely keeper Pacey received a straight red card when he brought down Gavin Crane but substitute Catley saved the penalty but could do nothing about Duane Wright's follow- up. Camillo Douglas flicked past Catley to put Whitton ahead at the break.

Chris Williams powered a cross into the roof of the net to make it 3-1, but James headed the home side a lifeline and deep into injury time Kirby grabbed the equaliser.
