COLCHESTER United will be giving Leeds United a bigger allocation of tickets than is normally reserved for visiting supporters, when the Yorkshire giants visit the Community Stadium on Saturday, April 4.
In fact, the visit of Leeds looks certain to set a new record attendance for a U's game at the new ground, which currently stands at 8,651 for the Essex derby against Southend last month.
In addition to the seating in the South Stand, where visiting supporters are accommodated, three blocks in the East Stand (E6, E7 and E8) will also be set aside for Leeds fans.
U's season ticket holders who will be affected by this move will be relocated to another area of the ground, for this one match. The decision to give Leeds supporters more tickets will hopefully reduce the likelihood of visiting fans trying to buy tickets for home areas of the ground.
