Leiston and Bury pick up Ryman awards

Two Suffolk sides were among the winners at the Ryman League Banquet and Ball held at the Wembley Hilton on Saturday.

Both Bury Town and Leiston of the Ryman Premier Division won five awards at the well attended event.
Leiston Chairman Andy Crisp collected the Ryman Premier Fair Play Award while Bury Town striker John Sands received the Premier Division Golden Boot for his 26 League goals.
Bury Town goalkeeper Marcus Garnham, Leiston midfielder Gareth Heath and Bury Town striker John Sands all received the high accolade of being selected in the Ryman Premier Division Team of the Year as selected by the Managers of the Premier Division sides.
