Leiston have appointed Paul Bugg as manager of their Reserves.
The Bostick Premier club, whose reserves play in the Thurlow Nunn First Division, have given Bugg the chance to develop the team’s reserve side, alongside former Debenham LC manager and UEFA B coach Stuart Reavell.
Bugg, a former Whitton boss, left Diss Town just a few months ago citing a number of players leaving the club to move elsewhere, and a disagreement in the direction the club was moving as the reasons for his departure.
“I am done with football, unless there is something that I can’t turn down,” said Bugg at the time.
However, he is back in business now and Leiston first team boss Glenn Driver is looking forward to Bugg working with his young reserve squad.
“I’m looking forward to what Paul and Stuart can bring to us,” Driver said.
Leiston Reserves season starts on Saturday, August 5, with a trip to Cornard.
