Leeds United were linked with Okuonghae before last week’s transfer deadline closed (for permanent transfers), and now Championship rivals Millwall have expressed their interest in Colchester United’s highly-rated centre-half.
Okuonghae’s current contract expires next summer, and if he doesn’t end up signing a new deal over the next few months, then the ex-Dagenham & Redbridge defender would be likely to leave the Essex club.
The Lions are reported to have been keeping a close eye on Okuonghae in recent weeks.
