IPSWICH Witches promoter John Louis has revealed one of his remaining speedway ambitions. He would love to stage a British Final at Foxhall Stadium.
Last week there was no action on the heath because of the 2008 Blue Riband British rider event at the Abbey Stadium, Swindon.
“If they are going to run the event on a Thursday I would love to stage it,” said Louis - a former winner of the event during his distinguished riding career.
“It would be an honour. We are the 'first choice' Thursday track within the Elite League and it would be nice to bring the event to Suffolk.”
