Lowestoft through, Needham leave it late

BOTH Needham Market and Lowestoft Town are in the hat for Monday's FA Vase semi-final draw.But Lowestoft already have their place confirmed after a stunning 4-0 victory over Bideford at Crown Meadow, while Needham will have to book their semi-final place by overcoming Chalfont St Peter in next weekend's replay in Buckinghamshire, after the two side's drew 1-1 at Bloomfields.

But Lowestoft already have their place confirmed after a stunning 4-0 victory over Bideford at Crown Meadow, while Needham will have to book their semi-final place by overcoming Chalfont St Peter in next weekend's replay in Buckinghamshire, after the two side's drew 1-1 at Bloomfields.

For Lowestoft, Russell Stock (2), Gary McGee and Richard Woodrow got the goals to see off Bideford, while Tommy Smith equalised for Needham in extra-time, after they had gone a goal down to Chalfont.

Also in the semi-final draw are Glossop North End who beat Marske 3-1 and Whitley Bay, who beat Biggleswade 5-1.
