Needham Market manager Mark Morsley will make his last appearance in the dugout on Monday night, when the Marketmen face Lowestoft Town in the Suffolk Premier Cup final at Colchester United.

The former Leiston and AFC Sudbury manager, who is in his second spell in charge of the Marketmen, will take over as chairman of the Bloomfields club – ex-Bury Town and Leiston manager and current Needham assistant manager Richard Wilkins filling the void left by Morsley.

Ahead of the game, Archant sports reporters Chris Brammer and Mike Bacon caught up with Morsley for a special ‘Sleeping Giants’ podcast in which the experienced manager discusses the highs and lows from his time on the touchline and his future plans for Needham Market, as chairman.

To spice things up a bit, Morsley also picks his best XI from the vast number of plaeyrs he has managed over the year and singles out his best-ever signing – a player that currently pulls the strings at Leiston.
