Ipswich Town fans have been taking to social media to share their thoughts on the departure of star player Martyn Waghorn to Derby County.
The star forward, who scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists for the Blues in his lone season at Portman Road last campaign, has moved to the Rams for an initial £5m in a deal which could rise to £7.5m.

But his departure has paved the way for Town to sign Shrewsbury duo Toto Nsiala and Jon Nolan for £2m, with other deals in the pipeline.

And Town fans seem to largely be ready to embrace a new era without Waghorn, as long as boss Paul Hurst can use the funds to bring in more players to the side.
