FOOTBALL: Coplestonians, who are members of the Senior Division of the Kingsley Healthcare SIL, have appointed former Woodbridge Town boss as their new manager.
He takes over from Gary Bartlett who stepped down at the end of the season with an assistant or assistants to be confirmed.
Read, had been assisting with coaching at Coplestonians since he left Ridgeons League Woodbridge.
He said: “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity of getting back into a managerial role and am looking forward to the challenge of building on the firm foundations already in place at a progressive club.”
Other positions at Coplestonians, also announced at the annual general meeting were: reserve team managers: Ian Bristo and Chris King, A team managers: Dave Little and Peter Dawson, U18 Ridgeons Youth League manager: Sean Thacker, U18 SSYL manager: Mark Kennedy.
