Abbeycroft Leisure have taken a new approach to the Suffolk Youth Games this year and are doing all they can to ensure 'Team Buff St.Edmundsbury' are well represented at the 2007 Games.

On April 25th a Suffolk Youth Games Festival was held at Bury St.Edmunds Leisure Centre with the aim of selecting children for the Training Programmes in each sport.

Sponsored by Waitrose, the day was a great success with nearly 200 children from local middle and upper Schools in the borough coming along for skills practices, games, tournaments and a free t-shirt kindly provided by Waitrose.

The training programmes for the Suffolk Youth Games Teams begin in June, and further information can be obtained by e-mailing sports.development@
