15 years ago today, the Blues beat Wimbledon 4-1 at Portman Road as Alun Armstrong, Richard Naylor, Darren Bent and Pablo Counago scored.
In 2001, Town hosted Torpedo Moscow at Portman Road in the first leg of their UEFA Cup game with Titus Bramble scoring the Blues’ equaliser in the 85th minute.
John Wark scored twice as Town continued their unbeaten start to the 1980-81 season with a 2-0 win over Coventry at Portman Road.
Also on this day in 1988, Simon Milton scored a hat-trick as they Blues won 5-1 at Shrewsbury Town, while in 1996 Town was live on TV as they beat Charlton 2-1 at Portman Road, with the visitors ended the game with 10 men.
