PETERBOROUGH Speedway are delighted to announce that Stanair Industrial Door Services are set to continue as an Elite Partner for the 2012 season.

The Kettering based company have been sponsors of the club since 2006, where part of their meeting funding included the memorable Play-Off Final victory against the Reading Bulldogs.

In 2007 they became official Team Partners and in an unbroken spell have now become a loyal supporter of the Panthers.

Their business was founded in Kettering in 1974, but expansion has since seen depots opened in Milton Keynes, Rugby and Peterborough.

They employ nearly 70 staff and are heavily involved in grass roots sponsorship as well as high-profile branding in several sports including football, cricket and of course speedway.

Stanair spokesman Martin Wall said: “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship with Peterborough Speedway as the partnership has worked very well for both parties.

“We have been looked after as a company by the Panthers, so we’re as appreciative of their support as they are of ours.

“We would like to wish them all the best for the 2012 season.”

Peterborough Speedway co-promoter Julie Mahoney added: “We’re very pleased to have Stanair’s continued support.

“They’ve been wonderful to deal with since Rick (Frost) and I got involved with the club and we were also very appreciative of their backing again last season. They stuck with us during what was a very difficult time, which culminated in our late inclusion in the league and could have been excused for just walking away.”

Panthers owner Rick Frost also commented: “Stanair have become a big friend of the club and we thank them for all the help they continue to give us.

“Hopefully we can repay their continued loyalty by having a successful season on the track.”
