Peterborough will once again host the Premier League Fours this season.

The East of England Showground is the traditional home of the meeting which brings together eight clubs on the same day for a packed programme of racing.

The event, one of the most popular on the domestic calendar, has been provisionally pencilled in for Sunday August 3.

Last year, Edinburgh took the honours in blisteringly hot conditions but with the Panthers now competing at Premier League level themselves there should be an added dimension for home supporters.

Panthers will also hope to qualify for the Premier League Pairs at Somerset on Friday July 11 – the day before the British Grand Prix at Cardiff, and they will be represented in the Premier Riders’ Championship at Sheffield on Sunday September 21.

On domestic matters, the Knockout Cup draw has been revised to include the Panthers, who will face Scunthorpe in the first round with the home leg to take place at the Showground on Tuesday May 13.
