GREAT BRITAIN’S Paralympic contenders were in fine fettle at yesterday’s British Para National Dressage Championships at Hickstead.
Sophie Christiansen, in section 1a, led the way on Janeiro and secured a score of 81.47 per cent which ensured a comprehensive victory over Anne Dunham’s two contenders, Lucas Normark and Teddy Edwards.
Multi-Paralympic gold medallist Lee Pearson won section 1b on Gentleman, winning the title by more than nine per cent from Ricky Balshaw and Sunnyboy.
Natasha Baker won section II aboard Cabral, while Deb Criddle (LJT Akilles) and Sophie Wells (Pinocchio) triumphed in sections IV and V, respectively.
