DEBENHAM LC were made to pay for missed chances as Team Bury leapfrogged their Suffolk neighbours in the Thurlow Nunn First Division table courtesy of a 2-1 victory at Maitlands.
On a bitter afternoon, both teams served up some exciting football to at least allow the fans who braved the elements an excuse to keep their hands warm with applause.
However it was the home support that was left disappointed, as goals from Connor Davies and Ryan Taylor put the west Suffolk visitors in the ascendency, before Rob Kemp’s late header proved a consolation, as a then 10-man Debenham LC side lost out.
