Potts resigns as Felixstowe manager

STEVE Potts has resigned as manager of Felixstowe and Walton United.Potts' deputy Neil Smye will take charge of this Saturday's game at Leiston in the Premier Division of Ridgeons League.

STEVE Potts has resigned as manager of Felixstowe and Walton United.

Potts' deputy Neil Smye will take charge of this Saturday's game at Leiston in the Premier Division of Ridgeons League.

Potts lifted Felixstowe out of the doldrums and out of the First Division - leading them to 13th in the top flight in 2006/07 and eighth last season.

The former Grundisburgh manager gives his reasons for leaving Dellwood Avenue in tomorrow's Elvin King Kick-Off column in the Evening Star.
