BRANTHAM Athletic begin life in the Premier Division of the Ridgeons League with a visit to Debenham Leisure Centre on the opening day of the season on Saturday, August 7.

Tony Hall’s side was promoted from Division One last term, and will be hoping for as successful a first season in the top flight as Mel Aldis’ Debenham did in 2009/10.

Favourites to win the Premier Division – Leiston – entertain Wisbech on the opening day while in Division One newcomers Cambridge University Press kick-off with a trip to Steve Jay’s Stowmarket Town.
