CHELMSFORD City are nearing the completion of their squad ahead of the latest Melbourne pre-season test, with midfielder Jamie Hand agreeing terms again for the 2009/10 campaign.

The Clarets take-on Romford tonight (Wednesday) in a re-run of some historical clashes between the two clubs in decades past, and Head Coach Glenn Pennyfather is delighted he's secured Hand's signature, with the central midfielder impressing during his spell at the end of last season.

Ollie Berquez, however, is expected to be missing for a number of weeks as his foot injury was recently diagnosed as being a broken bone. Jason Hallett's twisted ankle has shown a sufficient recovery though his knock will continue to be monitored by the Management Team.
