According to reports in his native France, Real are weighing up a �20million bid for the 26-year-old right-back.
And Sagna, who joined the Gunners in July 2007, has refused to play down the rumours.
He said: “I am surprised by this news but I wouldn't turn my back on it. I fully intended to return to pre-season training with Arsenal but I'm going to see what happens.”
