SUFFOLK Olympic medal hopeful Goldie Sayers qualified for the javelin final at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu this morning.
Sayers, from Newmarket, qualified for the final with a throw of 62.19m.
Asked about her medal prospects, Sayers, who finished fourth at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, said: “If I am at 100 per cent and one of the top three are at 90 per cent I have a chance.”
The final will be held tomorrow.
