Felixstowe & Walton travel to seventh-placed Thetford Town on Saturday looking to extend their winning run to seven games against Kevin O’Donnell’s former club where he was assistant manager before taking over the reins at The Goldstar Ground.
Their hosts are one of the surprise packages in the Premier Division this season having escaped relegation in the summer by default after finishing 19th in the table.
The Seasiders boss will be wary of a side that have lost just one of their last nine games and against who they shared the points when the sides met at The Goldstar Ground in December. Mildenhall and Gorleston remain favourites for the top two spots, despite the Greens midweek defeat at Melford but the Seasiders have halved the 20-point deficit on the back of their current run and with two games in hand on the leaders will want to keep that momentum going.
