SUFFOLK Seniors won their triangular friendly Greensomes match over 28 holes against Cambridgeshire and Norfolk at Hintlesham. Suffolk ended with 23 points, Norfolk 16 and Cambridgeshire 15.

SUFFOLK Seniors won their triangular friendly Greensomes match over 28 holes against Cambridgeshire and Norfolk at Hintlesham. Suffolk ended with 23 points, Norfolk 16 and Cambridgeshire 15.
Nick Owles and Don Moody won maximum points for Suffolk while Jim Cole and Dick Barton won five points out of a possible six. Mike Duley and Phil Platten won over 18 holes in the afternoon after losing the 10-hole contest in the morning as did Geoff Henney and George Irvine. Charlie Woods and Chris Ginn won in the morning but lost in the afternoon.
