League-leaders Achilles have a chance to increase their advantage in the SIL Senior Division this weekend as sides around them have a week off.

Achilles are at 11th placed East Bergolt United, having won their last two games 6-1 – including against second-placed Benhall St Mary two weeks ago – and another triumph would see them stretch their lead to eight points.

Even after this weekend they will have three games in hand on Benhall, while Coplestonians and Crane Sports, the sides in third and fourth, potentially nine points behind them having played the same amount of matches.

Cranes are in action in the SIL KO Cup, where they host Capel Plough, the side immediately below them in the table. Sporting 87 host Grundisburgh in the other cup clash.

The rest of the league games are mid-table affairs - AFC Hoxne host Felixstowe Harpers, Henley Athletic entertain Leiston St Margarets and Ransomes host Haughley United.
