SPARE a thought for the frustrated footballers from the Needham Market Vets squad.

Members of Division Six of the Kingsley Healthcare SIL they will have suffered a two-month break without kicking a ball by the time they play their next scheduled fixture on Saturday week against Ipswich Rovers.

They have suffered most from big freeze, and ironically have no match this weekend. Their last game was on December 12.

Aldeburgh Town Reserves from the same division are hoping to play Rovers in two days' time after also kicking their heels since December 12.
