Madrid have contacted a host of Premier League clubs with a list of nine players they are willing to sell in a bid to recoup some of the �150m they will lay out on Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Van Nistelrooy is on the list as well as Arjen Robben, Klass-Jan Huntelaar, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe, Javier Saviola, Gabriel Heinze and Mahamadou Diarra.
