HADLEIGH United have now officially cancelled Chris Williams' registration, freeing him up to join fellow Ridgeons League Premier Division side Leiston.
Leiston claimed to have re-signed the striker, who started the season at Victory Road, last week only for Hadleigh to point out that he was still registered with them.
Ken Ramsey, the Hadleigh United chairman, said: “Hadleigh United wish him well for the rest of the season and thank him for all of his efforts and contributions for last season and the first half of this season.”
