The equestrian team from an east Suffolk secondary school has received a “professional and high-quality” kit donation for a national championship.

Four girls from Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham – Katie Smith, Daisy Kiddy, Charlotte Wood and Shannon Curtis – will be competing representing Suffolk against teams from across the country when they take part on the 80cm National Schools Equestrian Association County Showjumping Championship next month.

Teacher Helen Lambert said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity and the girls have done very well to get this far.”

The new kit has been sponsored by Linda Maude from The Pony People Company, which has been praised by the school for spending a “lot of time and care sorting out the professional and high-quality kit”.
