East Bergholt 4 Ipswich Valley Rangers 0

IVR gave a spirited performance against an experienced Bergholt side who had most of the possession but found visiting keeper Higgins in fine form. An own goal as early as the eighth minute put the visitors on the back foot. Bergholt missed a number of chances, before Phillips earned a penalty on 69 minutes, Garrad gleefully found the net. Substitute Stocker headed in two minutes later from a yard out and Fryer slotted in time added on following a pass from Garrad.

Haughley 4 Crane Sports 2

The home side took the lead in the fifth minute when Nathan Smith collected Aaron Robinson’s long ball before netting.

Leigh Cooper levelled the scores on 48 minutes stroking home Webb’s pull back. Tony Mayhew hit the Cranes woodwork for a third time and then Smith’s cross was headed home by Wragg. Two minutes later, James Blades headed in from close-range to equalize only for Haughley to go up the other end and restore their lead as Beeston’s cross was turned into his own net by Ash Smith. Substitute Reumel Codrington then played in Smith for Haughley’s fourth.

Grundisburgh 0 Capel Plough 4

Capel took the lead on 10 minutes when Morrison confidently dispatched a penalty. A minute before half-time Capel went two up, Jackson fouled Collins on the left and Barrett’s excellent delivery was glanced home by Morrison. The second half saw Capel cruise to end up comfortable winners, Rawthorn went clean through from the half way line to slot past Wilson. Morrison completed his hat-trick blasting a free-kick into the top corner.

Leiston St Margarets 2 Stanton 0

This entertaining match was comfortably won by the ‘Saints’, who, had they taken their chances, would have won in more convincing style. The home side took the lead in the sixth minute when Aaron Newton sent a sublime 40-yard diagonal ball into the path of Ryan Noy, who cut inside to drill home.

They extended their lead on 63 minutes when a cross into the 18-yard box was powerfully headed home by Tom Mower.

Bramford 3 Wenhaston 4

Wenhaston took the lead on 18 minutes when L Chenery fired in from a corner. Wenhaston scored again on 23 minutes through J Chenery. Five minutes, later Wenhaston looked in command as Payne set up Stammers to score their third. Bramford upped their match with Dodsworth’s low shot giving Aryes no chance. Bramford reduced the deficit with Cowan heading home after 69 minutes. Three minutes later, Bramford were on level terms when Dodsworth fired home, but Payne raced clear to make no mistake with his shot to give Wenhaston the points.

Westerfield 2 Framlingham 1

Westerfield stay top of the table although it was Framlingham who went ahead when Mayhew headed in from a corner. Dunn equalised with a shot from just inside the area. Three minutes later, the home side were ahead when Richardson curled into the corner.
