Colchester United will play away at Gillingham on the opening day of the 2013-14 season, on August 3.
Joe Dunne’s men will kick off the new campaign at Priestfield, while their first home game is against newly-promoted Port Vale, on August 10.
The U’s can look forward to a home game on Boxing Day, against Stevenage, while New Year’s Day sees a short trip to MK Dons.
Once again, the U’s will end the season away, this time at Walsall – at least not as far as Carlisle on the last day of last term!
Other home highlights include the visit of relegated Wolves, on October 5, and the visit of Sheffield United on January 25.
