COLCHESTER United have been fairly lucky with injuries in recent weeks, as they approach the business end of the season.
Club captain Kem Izzet has been the only long-term absentee, due to an ankle injury.
And Izzet, along with back-up keeper Mark Cousins and right-back Brian Wilson, are the three players receiving treatment this week.
Cousins has a wrist problem, while Wilson injured his calf during last Saturday’s 1-0 home win over Preston.
It is hoped that Wilson will be fit to take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this Saturday.
“Brian took a knock on his calf, but he should be fine,” explained manager Joe Dunne.
Wilson was nursing a calf injury during the game, while striker Jabo Ibehre was also under-the-weather with a virus.
Meanwhile, Izzet revealed he is making good progress. The midfielder said: “I am about a week away.”
And keeper Cousins explained: “The wrist has been a little sore and so it’s been decided that I should take a couple of weeks off.”
Youngster Shaun Phillips filled in as deputy keeper to Chelsea loanee Sam Walker against Preston.
