U’s chief John McGreal is looking for a swift response after his side’s Stevenage slip up when they entertain Morecambe in Saturday’s League Two home test.
The promotion hopefuls blew a chance to keep the pressure on leaders Lincoln after a surprise 2-1 Boxing Day defeat in front of their own fans. McGreal wants no repeat this weekend.
“We fell into that trap of taking that extra touch, when we needed to move it quicker. We were just off it a little bit,” he said.
“We haven’t got that consistency at the moment, which we will need if we want to stay in and around that top seven, to be successful.”
