West Brom reclaimed second place in the Coca-Cola Championship by breaking Colchester's Layer Road stranglehold with a 2-1 victory tonight.The Us had not lost at home since August, but two goals in as many minutes from Paul McShane and Diomansy Kamara early in the second half helped the Baggies become the first team to complete a league double over Colchester this season.

Johnnie Jackson had pulled one back for the Us in the 55th minute.
