Colchester United caretaker manager Kit Symons has made his first signing by snapping up left-back Gary Borrowdale on an emergency loan from Coventry City.
The 23-year-old is set to go straight into the U's squad for tomorrow's League One fixture at Tranmere Rovers. Borrowdale was at Crystal Palace when Symons was on the coaching staff at Selhurst Park.
