COLCHESTER United will wear their iconic blue and white stripes on the road for the first time in over a decade after signing a lucrative new two-year shirt sponsorship deal.
For the past 10 years, Colchester have always had separate sponsors for their home and away kits, meaning contractually they have not been able to wear their home strip on their travels.
However, the club has now signed over shirt rights for both kits – including the brand new home shirt – to cruise travel company Reader Offers Limited.
Established in 1995, the Colchester-based company are award-winning industry leaders whose preferred partners include some of the top cruise lines in the world such as Cunard, Fred Olsen, Royal Caribbean International, P&O Cruises and Celebrity Cruises.
