BURY Town’s bid to win promotion to Blue Square Bet South hit the buffers when they lost 3-1 at AFC Hornchurch in their Ryman League Premier Division play-off semi-final on Wednesday night.
But former Ipswich Town midfielder Billy Clark, who joined the Blues this season, scored a long-range cracker midway through the second half to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
