Football: Colchester United Jimmy Walker's most recent loan deal expired over the weekend, although it is hoped that the 35-year-old keeper will be staying at Colchester United.
The experienced Walker has been on loan from West Ham for the last couple of months, and has conceded just eight goals in 11 appearances for the U's.
U's boss Paul Lambert was angry that Walker's immediate future was not sorted out before last week's transfer deadline - the Scotsman wants to sign Walker on a permanent basis - but it is believed that the U's at least have the option of a final month loan period, which would extend his stay to 93 days.
