WHITTON United and Lakenheath are on course to meet in the quarter-finals in a repeat of last season’s Suffolk Senior Cup final.
A Kevin Inglis penalty gave ten-man Whitton a 1-0 victory over Lakenheath in last season’s showpiece final at Portman Road.
Lakenheath will have home advantage in the last-eight tie against the winners of the delayed Corton v Whitton second round tie – Whitton were involved in the FA Vase on Saturday – which takes place on December 3.
The full draw is as follows: Grundisburgh v Stowmarket Town, Lakenheath v Corton or Whitton Utd, Leiston St Margarets v Felixstowe Utd or Team Bury, Long Melford v Achilles.
Ties to be played on January 7, 2012.
