Crowds look set to witness an exciting day’s racing today in the final stage of the Women’s Tour.

Yellow jersey holder and World champion Marianne Vos extended her lead at the top to 19 seconds after winning yesterday’s fourth stage in Hertfordshire.

It means other title contenders, including Emma Johansson, Rossella Ratto and leading British rider Lizzie Armitstead will need to drop her during today’s stage to be in with a chance of winning the overall Tour.

Today’s fifth and final stage runs 114km from Harwich to Bury St Edmunds. Click here for route map.

Riders set off from Dovercourt Swimming Pool at 10am, and the first riders are expected to cross the finish line at Angel Hill, Bury, from 12.50pm.
