MULTIMILLIONAIRE Carson Yeung has made an offer to purchase Birmingham City.

The Hong-Kong based businessman already owns just under 30% of the club. The current deal will see him take his holding to 80%. Yeung made a �3million deposit for the club earlier in the week.

If the deal does go through then it would mean that half of all of the Premier League sides will be owned by international companies.

Fulham - Mohamed Al Fayed (Egypt)

Liverpool - Tom Hicks and George Gillett (USA)

Manchester City - Sheikh Mansour (Abu Dhabi)

Manchester United - Glazer family (USA)

Portsmouth - Alexander Gaydamak (Russia)

Sunderland - Ellis Short (USA)

West Ham - CB Holding (Iceland)
