Ever wondered what it must be like to be part of the the Fast and the Furious franchise? Now you can find out as the 4DX version of the latest instalment roars exclusively into Cineworld Ipswich.
The Fate of the Furious arrives at the Cardinal Park multiplex April 12. The myterious Ciper (Charlize Theron) seduces road racer Dominic Torettto (Vin Diesel) into the world of terroism, forcing his former crew to bring him down.
Fans of the franchise will remember Fast and Furious 6 filmed its climatic scene at Bentwaters Parks, Rendlesham, for several weeks in 2012.
The 4DX auditorium at Ipswich has 136 specially designed high-tech motion seats, special effects including wind, fog, rainstorm, lightning, bubbles, water, rain and scents plus a curved screen measuring 12.7m by 7.0m – bigger than a double decker bus.
“Nearly 600,000 people have tried the 4DX experience at Cineworld and have all sung its praises, so we’re really excited to give our visitors the chance to experience Fast and Furious 8 in this format,” said general manager Sam Prior.
“The film is so hotly-anticipated and given the genre is projected to be one of the leading titles to experience in 4DX. Completely exclusive to Cineworld, we cannot wait to see customers’ reactions when they watch this film.”
