From Suffolk schoolboy, to global superstar, Ed Sheeran has achieved a lot in his 26 years.
Today the singing success, from Framlingham, has released this third album, and critics are calling it the best yet.
Divide features Ed’s number one hit, Shape Of You, as well as Castle On The Hill, which he dubbed his “love song for Suffolk”.
There are 16 tracks on the deluxe version of the record and Ed has hinted there may be more nods to his home county.
To promote Divide, and to kick back criticism he attracted due to a line in Castle On The Hill about driving at 90mph down Suffolk country roads, Ed’s team has put up road safety posters around the county, using the new album artwork.
However he told BBC radio he would not change the lyric, adding: “I am not encouraging speeding at all, I am just singing it in a song.”
Divide is due to be played in full on BBC Radio 1 today from 10.30am.
