Star of The Voice Jade Mayjean Peters will be getting visitors to The Crown in Woodbridge in the festive spirit this Christmas Eve.

The 21-year-old, from Ipswich, will sing a range of seasonal songs and classic hits at the hotel, bar and restaurant, in The Thoroughfare area of the town, from 9pm.

“Jade is a fantastic singer – she was a big hit on The Voice UK, so I’ve no doubt it’s going to be a great night. They’ll be the usual fantastic food and drink you’d expect from The Crown, but Jade’s appearance is guaranteed to get the party going and make it a Christmas Eve to remember,” says general manager Garth Wray, who’s expecting a packed house for the one-off Yuletide event.

Peters wowed all four judges and narrowly missed out on making it into Kylie Minogue’s final three for the live stages when she appeared on the on the hit BBC1 show earlier this year.

The former Northgate High School pupil’s acoustic EP - A Piece of Me - is due out at the end of February. She’ll be accompanied by a guitarist, box drummer and backing vocalists for her show at The Crown.
