Playing high up on the bill Bombay Bicycle Club were an ideal act to perform.
Relaxing sounds came from the Obelisk Arena ricocheting around as the crowds sit, stood and danced.
The London band have worked hard, releasing four albums in only five years.
That graft paid off with a bigger profile at Latitude giving them the chance to showcase their tunes to thousands.
Working from cuts which included their number one album, this year’s So Long, See You Tomorrow, they certainly got some thumbs up.
After letting them drift away a little from the front of my music collection their show was a pleasing reminder that they are not just good acoustic players – they can bring some rock as well.
Heavy bass in particular was a highlight with lead singer’s Jack Steadman dulcet register just right for the Saturday evening crowd.
Now their easy to listen to music has got some new fans.
