A cast of 150 all-singing all-dancing performers took to the stage of The Apex in Bury St Edmunds to entertain with popular scenes from the West End.
The show, which was directed by Caroline Ranson, was put on by members of Stagecoach schools in west Suffolk on March 17 after just eight weeks of rehearsals.
Held in support of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, the production featured colourful scenes from Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Billy Elliot, Mamma Mia!, Guys and Dolls, Singin’ in the Rain, Oklahoma and even Shrek, with the age of actors ranging from just four to 16.
Mrs Ranson, Stagecoach principal, thanked parents for their support and her team of choreographers and staff.
“I am really proud of my students putting on such a fantastic performance after such a short rehearsal time.
“Every scene was full of colourful costume and vibrant music and dance. I am sure both audiences thoroughly enjoyed the shows and went away with a smile and some memorable songs indelibly etched on their minds”
