Comedian and panel-show regular Ó Briain is among the latest acts to be announced for this year’s Latitude Festival.
The Mock the Week presenter is set to headline the Suffolk festival’s comedy line-up along with Katherine Ryan and Simon Amstell, when it returns to Henham Park, near Southwold, this July.
Now in its 12th outing, Latitude has developed a reputation for its diverse entertainment offer and boasts the largest comedy line-up in the UK.
Latitude’s curator of the arts, Tania Harrison said: “Latitude prides itself in showcasing the very best artists, both emerging and established, and in the comedy bill you’ll find newcomers, rising stars and international acts.”
Ó Briain, who is well known for his television work, will be headlining alongside Ryan, another panel show regular, fresh from the recently released Katherine Ryan: In Trouble on Netflix. Amstell, who appeared on Popworld and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, recently co-wrote the series Grandma’s House, following a number of international sold-out tours.
