Maybe far away or maybe real nearby, there’s somebody who wants to play little orphan Annie.
Award Winning Felixstowe Musical Theatre are holding auditions for the classic musical later this month.
Abandoned years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan, she befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and eventually finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and lovable mutt Sandy.
FMT want somebody to take on the part of Annie and other strong girls to play the orphans alongside her.
People are also needed for the junior chorus, boys to play street urchins, men and ladies for principals and chorus and male and female dancers.
Auditions for the children are being held on Sunday, February 19 and for the adults on Sunday, February 26. Both start at 10am at The Trimley Welcome Hall. The show runs at the Spa Pavilion from June 13-16.
People interested should e-mail the secretary at nat.free33@googlemail.com and more info can also be found at www.felixstowemusicaltheatre.co.uk or searching for FMT on Facebook and Twitter.
