A Suffolk acting company are preparing to step into the roles of a mismatched band of holidaymakers occupying the “caravan site from hell”.

Framlingham Amateur Dramatic Society (FADS) are making final preparations for their four-night run of Peter Gordon’s play Third Week in August, starting next Wednesday.

As part of the performance, the group have got their hands on an old caravan which has been sliced in two for the main setting of the stage comedy, which finds solo holidaymaker Sue dropped among a motley bunch of characters.

The play will be staged in the Headmaster Porter Theatre at Framlingham College from Wednesday, October 30 to Saturday, November 2. Performances start at 7.30pm and tickets are £8, with concessions tickets available for £6 on the Wednesday.
